The Moto-Master RPX 525 is a 525 pitch, 120 link X-ring road motorcycle chain in gold, made for street and adventure bikes up to 1300cc, such as the KTM 1090 and 1290 Adventure. It is Moto-Master's road chain, the 120 link length of the RPX 525.
X-ring chains hold grease inside each joint behind an X shaped seal. The X profile has a smaller contact area than an O-ring, so there is less friction and, in Moto-Master's figures, up to twice the service life of a regular O-ring chain. Built for the extra power of larger road bikes. The chain is pre-stretched and pre-tensioned, the bushes and rollers are cold formed, the outer plates are brass plated against corrosion, and the steel is German.
Supplied with a rivet type master link, which needs a chain riveting tool to fit.
