The Moto-Master GPX-N is a narrow 520 pitch, 118 link X-ring dirt bike chain in gold. It is the X-ring chain to choose when a bike has tight clearance around the sprocket or swingarm, because it is as narrow as a non-sealed chain but has the life of a sealed one. Made for motocross and enduro.
X-ring chains hold grease inside each joint behind an X shaped seal. The X profile has a smaller contact area than an O-ring, so there is less friction and, in Moto-Master's figures, up to twice the service life of a regular O-ring chain. The pins are hard chromed (Moto-Master's CRK coating) for a longer life in wet and muddy conditions, the bushes and rollers are cold formed so there is no material deformation, the outer plates are brass plated against corrosion, and every component is made from German steel.
